Next Generation Fund

In 2005, the Next Generation Fund was created by the legislature. The Next Generation Fund, administered under the auspices of the Children’s Trust Fund (CTF), provides grants to organizations that provide positive youth development programs in an authentic, proactive, and trauma-informed manner.

Next Generation Fund projects and programs are evaluated by the Next Generation Council and funding recommendations are made to the Children’s Trust Fund board. The Next Generation Council is comprised of ten New Mexico residents who are appointed by the Children’s Trust Fund board and are committed to supporting our state’s children and youth.
