    Corinne is a lifelong resident of New Mexico. She is retired and has been a CPA for over 30 years where she has demonstrated integrity and dependability in a variety of settings including work with nonprofit organizations and boards. Corinne and her husband Larry adopted a child from state custody 20 years ago. This ignited her passion and led her to volunteer opportunities advocating for the children in foster care in New Mexico. She is currently a Court Appointed Special Advocate and also serves on the board of Roadrunner Food Bank. She enjoys hiking a spending time with her three adult children and their families.

    Marg Elliston is committed to improving the lives of children and families in New Mexico, especially those who did not get the greatest start in life. As a member of the first Governor’s Office of Children and Youth under Governor Toney Anaya, she worked on the legislation that created the Children’s Trust Fund. As a staff member of CYFD, she welcomed the Next Generation program into the Fund. After her retirement, she continues to advocate for better opportunities of children and hopes to see the Fund’s resources grow to build a great future for our state.

    Stacy King is a 4th generation rancher from Stanley, NM, a bookkeeper for King’s Butane Company, and owns and manages rental properties. She went to Moriarty High School and CNM. She is involved in the NM Hereford Association and helps kids in FFA and 4-H with their sale animals. Stacy is also involved with the New Mexico Children’s Foundation. Her grandmother, Alice King, started the CYFD and the Children’s Trust Fund. Alice King was a strong advocate for New Mexico children and the Children’s Trust Fund was a program that held a special place in her heart. Stacy says it is an honor to be a part of the Children’s Trust Fund Board and to be able to help out New Mexico’s children. She is looking forward to a brighter future for New Mexico’s kids.

    Billy Knight is a native New Mexican who graduated from Del Norte High School in 1967, and attended the University of New Mexico from 1967-1969. Billy is an US Army Veteran who was drafted in 1970 and Honorably Discharged in 1972. Since 1977, Billy has worked in the financial industry, and in 1993 opened Knight Financial Limited in Taos. In 2007, Billy was appointed by Governor Richardson to New Mexico’s Small Business Investment Corporation. Billy is a dedicated to improving the lives of New Mexico’s children through his advocacy, philanthropy, and political activism.

  • Kim Straus

    Santa Fe

    Kim Straus of Santa Fe retired after 17 years managing Brindle Foundation, a family foundation focused on supporting New Mexico’s babies and their families. As an early childhood advocate he served as the first chair of the J Paul Taylor Early Childhood Task Force, co-chair of the Santa Fe County Maternal and Child Health Council and for two terms on the Santa Fe County Health Planning and Policy Commission. This is his second stint on the CTF board, having previously served from 2009 to 2014. He has also worked at Audubon New Mexico, New Mexico Community Foundation, AID and Comfort of New Mexico, Kenyon College, College of Santa Fe, Lawrence University and Cimarroncita Ranch Camps. He holds degrees from Kenyon College and Harvard University. He and his husband Jack have a teenage son.
